Paying your solar bill in the Vivint Solar app
We want your solar experience to be easy, enjoyable, and all-around awesome, which is why we’ve added a new feature to the Vivint Solar app: bill pay. You can now view your account balance and pay your solar bill right inside the app just like in the Account Center. Here’s how you do it.
1. Tap the Vivint Solar app on your smartphone or tablet
Don’t have the app yet? No problem. Learn how to download the Vivint Solar app and set it up here. (If you downloaded the app but are unable to see your account information, try registering your app by following the steps listed here.)
2. Locate the “Manage Payment” box inside the Vivint Solar app
When your Vivint Solar app is up and running, you will be taken to your account overview page with your system’s production data. Just below your production data on the same screen is the “Manage Payments” tab. Click the orange button that says “Make Payment” to proceed.
3. View and pay your Vivint Solar bill
When you click “Make Payment,” you’ll be asked for permission to sign in. Tap “Continue.” From there, you’ll be logged in to your secure portal where you can view and pay your solar bill.

Helpful tip: You can also get to the payment portal by tapping “More” located at the bottom right on the navigation bar, then tapping “Manage Payments.”
Troubleshooting Tips:
- If your account has been set up through autopay, you won’t need to worry about paying manually via the app.
- If your solar energy system was funded through a third-party loan, you may need to set up payments directly with your loan provider instead.
