Troubleshooting an Enphase System with an Envoy R
You have an Envoy R. This device connects your solar energy system to the internet and allows you to monitor your solar energy production online. For more information about this device, check out Enphase Envoy R monitoring gateway.
Check the Envoy R internet connection
Now that we know you have an Envoy R, we need to check to see if it’s connected to the internet.
If it is, that’s great—that’s what we want. If it isn’t, gently pull out the Envoy and check the power cable to ensure that it’s plugged into the outlet. If necessary, unplug it from the outlet and then plug it back in to verify the connection. If the screen still isn’t powering on after that, reach out to us and we’ll send someone out who can help.
- On the upper right-hand screen, you should see either “+Web” or “-Web.”
If you see “+Web,” it means the Envoy is connected to the internet meaning you should be good to go. If you see “-Web,” it means the Envoy is not connected to the internet, so you’ll need to go to the next step.
- In the weatherproof box, look at the equipment near or attached to your Envoy.

Identify how the Envoy R connects to the internet
